It's Cherry Pickin' Time!

After 8 patient years of waiting, our cherry tree produced a lot of cherries this year! We had to put a huge net around it so the birds didn't eat them all. After church on Sunday Eric took the net off and we got all the cherries off the tree.

I made a homemade cherry cobbler that night.....YUM! Hmmm...how about cherries jubilee tomorrow?

9th Grade Graduation + Clove award for Music!

Is it really true that we now have a High Schooler? Easton can't possibly be old enough (i can't possibly be old enough!) We're so proud of Easton for doing so well in Jr. High. He was recognized at his Graduation for receiving the 'Clove' award for Music! They pick one student per subject and Easton was the recipient. What a great honor! He received recognition at an awards night, at Graduation, the award and $100! Now on to Murray High....
